Saclà and expo events: anti-waste actions


Support to the Food Bank during
the fair events </h2

Not only attention to the environment but also to those who most need help and solidarity. This is the spirit in which Saclà has always pursued concrete sustainable strategies, making them unique opportunities to improve things. In this regard, Saclà has decided to give a strong signal against food waste also within an institutional context. During trade fairs, the company donates all the Saclà products displayed at its stand to Food Bank. This operation saves a lot of undamaged products when made possible by the Foundation, benefiting communities in need, and promoting access to nutrition and health, to which everyone is fully entitled.

Great was the result obtained on CIBUS 2021, the usual fair dedicated to Food & Beverage based in Parma, during which Food Bank Emilia Romagna section collected a total of 15 tons of quality products that exhibiting companies such as Saclà have chosen to donate: pasta, sauces, preserves, flours, herbal teas, and many other goods have been redistributed to the charitable structures of Emilia Romagna and have reached the many people in difficulty in the area.
